Offers financial assistance to students attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln who may be ineligible for financial aid due to their immigration status

Provides annual scholarship(s) to incoming first year students at UNL who are champions or supporters of LGBTQA+ causes and/or rights.

Crompton/Diaz-Perdomo Scholarship
This award honors true heroes in LGBTQA+ rights and leaders in academics, and to inspire change and inclusion for students interested in and working toward a more inclusive, welcoming, and socially just environment for the LGBTQA+ community.
- Who can apply: UNL undergraduate students who are attending UNL during the academic year that the scholarship is provided.
- Award amount: $3,000

Roland Leavitt and Shawn Leavitt Family Scholarship
This award provides a scholarship to:
a non-traditional student (delayed enrollment more than one year after graduating from high school and/or has a primary focus other than school (work, parenting, etc.) ORa member of a recognized student organization whose purpose is to support LGBTQA+ students; has demonstrated involvement with Student Culture & Community; or is pursuing a minor in LGBTQ/Sexuality Studies at UNL.
- Who can apply: UNL undergraduate students who are attending UNL during the academic year that the scholarship is provided.
- Award amount: $1,200
