Fredrickson-Formanek Scholarship
Award amount: $2,000
This award provides annual scholarship(s) to incoming first year students at UNL who are champions or supporters of LGBTQA+ causes and/or rights.

Requirements
- Award is valid only for one academic year (fall and spring semesters). A tuition credit of $1,000 is applied each semester toward the recipient's centralized billing account.
- Recipient is required to carry a minimum of 12 hours per semester in which the scholarship is provided.
Who can apply
Applicant must meet both requirements:
- Incoming first year undergraduate students enrolled at UNL during the academic year that the scholarship is provided.
- Champion or supporter of LGBTQA+ causes and/or rights.
Selection Preference
Preference may be given to students who meet these requirements:
- Graduated from a Nebraska high school.
- Demonstrated financial need.
