An annual family-friendly evening event at UNL celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month.

5 to 7 p.m. 

Nebraska Union's Memorial Plaza

FREE to attend. Open to students and the public.

  • Vibrant Entertainment
    • 6 to 7 p.m.  |  Sangre Azteca Folkloric Dance
      • performing traditional, mestizo, and Indigenous dances from 10 different states of Mexico.
         

    • 5 to 7 p.m.  |  DJ Dr. Chatters + DJ Lonny
      • playing music throughout the evening


  • Free Food
    • Papi Churros
      • Available to all attendees.

      • Limit 1 churro per visit. Attendees can make unlimited visits.

      • No check-in required. Simply join the line.
         

    • World Plates 
      • Available for UNL Students only, while supplies last. 

        • At the Info Booth, check in with your Event Pass to receive a food ticket.

      • Limit of 1 quesadilla OR 1 loaded nachos per student.

      • 400 quesadillas: 200 cheese; 200 chicken

      • 200 loaded chicken nachos
