UNL hosts ‘She Dared to Dream' screening and discussion panel

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln hosted a screening of the documentary “She Dared to Dream” on Tuesday night, highlighting the journey of Ayanna Pressley, the first Black Congresswoman from Massachusetts. 

The 30-minute screening was held at the Swanson Auditorium in the Nebraska Union, drawing students, faculty, staff and community members to reflect on leadership, authenticity and the power of representation. 

The documentary described the various challenges that Pressley faced both as a human and as a congresswoman, emphasizing the courage and leadership she showed while uplifting the community.
